William G. Milliken, Jr. CCIM, CIPS Bill Milliken is president-elect of the 24,000-member Michigan Association of Realtors. He was elected to the board of the CCIM Institute at its 2008 mid-year meeting in Newport Beach, CA. Milliken Realty was named a "Best of Michigan" Business by Corp! magazine in Feb., 2008. He was president of Michigan's Commercial Board of Realtors (CBOR) in 2006 and named CBOR's Realtor of the Year (2006). CCIM China Trade Mission delegate, 2006. Re-appointed May, 2010 to executive committee of Ann Arbor SPARK, the economic development agency for the Ann Arbor region (AnnarborSPARK.org). Elected to New Detroit board of directors in 2010. Awarded Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation after completing course requirements in Bangkok, Thailand in 2004. Previously Chair, Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce (2001). Named Realtor of the Year (2000) by the Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors. Also served as director of Republic Bank for 13 years (1990-2003). Contributing writer & photographer for Auto Aficionado magazine. Holds a private pilot's license. Formed Milliken Realty in 1996.
